According to the reports, the accident took place in the morning on the National Highway near Jhirk area of the city when the vehicles coming from opposite directions, on a single-track road, collided with each other. Upon receiving the information, the rescue workers reached the site and shifted the victims to a local hospital, said the rescue service, adding that some of the patients were later taken to another hospital for further treatment.
